My name is Ausa Peacock and I am an Austin massage therapist working with a variety of deep tissue methods to release areas of tension, whether from injury, repetitive stress, or emotional holding.
I was born and raised here in Austin and I have always felt a strong connection to this part of the world. I attended the Austin Waldorf School through high school before going on to earn a BFA from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada.
I have always been drawn to addressing the physical and emotional pain of loved ones through touch. After years of informally massaging friends in an intuitive way, it seemed only natural to pursue massage therapy as a career. It was in massage school that I first experienced the transformative power of deep tissue massage which led to my current focus.
I received my massage therapy training from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon, graduating in 2007 with a specialty in Western methods including deep tissue, trigger point, and myofascial release. I returned to my home town of Austin in late 2013 to continue my massage work in the city I love.
In my spare time, I enjoy painting, gardening, cooking, and exploring Austin with my husband and our two dogs, Pixel and Millie.
